TRAMORPH - TRAnscription based on MORPHology

This is a tool developed both to get a reliable transcription and to obtain POS for almost any Italian word (see the page about the morphological analyzer - they are strictly related). It includes a preprocessing module which translates iso chars in a format suitable for the tool, and a default transcription module to transcribe unknown words (always too many, believe me!).
